Where Can I Serve?
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as folding the church newsletters to serving meals to the community.
The Brook
Each Sunday we offer a church serve at the Brook of Gladwin at 2p.m. Everyone is welcome! We are excited to be able to minister to the population and we invite you to join us. If you would like to become part of the team, please let us know.
2nd Saturday Supper
Every 2nd Saturday of each month, members of our church put on a free meal for the community. Serving times are from 4:30-5:30p.m. take-out only.
Deeper Life in Christ
Each year we offer opportunities to put into the practice of our daily lives the faith that we profess. We invite you to join us in these opportunities!
Small Group Bible Studies
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, our church has small group Bible studies held at the church. The size of the group is anywhere from three to twelve people. At a time designated by your group leader you can participate in the small group study. Please look at the tab “Events” or contact the church office for more information.
Walk to Emmaus
The Emmaus Walk is a three-day movement. The Walk to Emmaus was “birthed” in 1978 when The Upper Room of the General Board of Discipleship of the United Methodist Church trademarked Emmaus. Today, the Walk to Emmaus exists to help Christians deepen their faith in Christ and discover the grace that is given to us on our walk with the Lord. If you are interested in attending an Emmaus Walk, please contact the church office for more information.
